If anyone happens to be wandering around the Earls Court area in London on Sunday 11th October and is interested in bikes (how can anyone not be!) or would like to fire a few questions at me (nothing too difficult, please) I’ve been asked to sit on a ‘panel’ at The Cycle Show. I’ll also be trying to flog a few of my cycling-here-and-there bike books so if anyone has a few spare bob floating about their person and would like me to scrawl in a copy, then please track me down.
For more information on The Cycle Show please see: www.cycleshow.co.uk and www.cyclodelic.co.uk.
Meanwhile, for those of a bicycle boffin and bike-trailer nature, here’s a few bike-flavoured snapshots…

HI, Josie, Once saw your take a bout land of the Neon sun, in Bradford ( where all the good roads lead away from!!).
Nerd question , but since your on al Rohlly now, does your chain stay cleaner- mine does. and it it easier chaining gears after your stopped with a child in tow. (Note to self -must look at stopping the wobble on the trail-gator bikew in tow).
Cheers Dan

Josie,
on the pic of your Rohloff gear, I spy a chain tensioner. Are you using it with multiple chainrings?

Hi Reg,
No, the frame was originally built with vertical dropouts for a conventional groupset, so the change to a hub gear required a means of tensioning the chain. The Rohloff has plenty of range, although the 8 speed hub on the Nihola trike could use a little more, so maybe i will stick a triple on that one!
